Research on Fracture Toughness of A508-Ⅲ Steel in Transition Range

摘要: Master曲线法作为描述铁素体钢在韧脆转变区和断裂韧性下平台范围内解理断裂行为的新方法,在反应堆压力容器(RPV)结构的完整性评估中获得了成功应用。完成了-50℃下A508-Ⅲ钢的拉伸试验,按照ASTM标准中基于弹塑性断裂力学和统计方法的Master曲线操作方法,测试并计算RPV用A508-Ⅲ钢材料带有预制裂纹的夏比尺寸试样(PCCv试样)和12.7 mm紧凑拉伸试样(0.5CT试样)在韧脆转变温度范围内(-50℃)的断裂韧性和参考温度。结果表明,两种试样的参考温度仅相差0.6℃。Abstract: Master curve method is developed to evaluate the elastic-plastic fracture toughness of ferritic material in transition region.It has been successfully used in RPV integrity assessment.The tensile tests of A508-Ⅲ steel in-50℃ is performed.As part of RPV aging management base data,this research focuses on the test method of KJC and T0 using Pre-Cracked Charpy V notched(PCCv) samples and 0.5 inch Compact Tensile(CT) samples.The test temperature is-50℃.Results show that,the difference of T0 between PCCv and 0.5CT is only 0.6℃.
