Effect of Bi Content on Microstructure and Mechanical Properties of Lead-Free Brass Alloy

摘要: 采用扫描电子显微镜(SEM)、能谱分析(EDS)以及X射线衍射(XRD)等分析方法研究不同含量的铋对无铅铋黄铜微观组织、力学性能和切削性能的影响。结果表明,铋黄铜主要由板条状α和β相组成,有少量的富铋颗粒在α相和β相的相界上以及β相中弥散析出,随着合金中铋含量的增加,富铋颗粒的含量增加。力学性能测试结果表明,随着铋含量的增加,合金的布氏硬度逐渐增加,抗拉强度和屈服强度略有提高,而延伸率和断面收缩率逐渐下降。切削性能测试表明,随着铋含量的增加,合金的切削性能逐渐提高,铋含量达到0.7%,切削性能接近于铅黄铜。Abstract: Effect of Bi content on microstructure,mechanical properties and cutting property of lead-free brass alloy has been studied.Result of SEM,EDS and XRD shows that the alloy is comprised with α phase and β phase,some part of Bi exists in β phase and phase boundaries.Brinell hardness,tensile strength,yield strength and cutting property are promoting,while elongation percentage and percentage reduction of area are decreasing as content of Bi is increasing.Alloy 2# with 0.7% Bi is with appropriate mechanical properties as Pb-brasses.
