Fracture Morphology Analysis of Iodine Induced Stress Corrosion Cracking of N36 Zirconium Tube

摘要: 开展了在350℃和碘气氛环境下实施N36锆合金管环形样品的周向拉伸试验,研究N36锆管的碘致应力腐蚀开裂(I-SCC)行为。采用扫描电子显微镜(SEM)观察分析样品经I-SCC试验后的断面形貌。结果表明,试样边缘位置易于出现点蚀坑,多条裂纹平行于断口生长,沿晶与穿晶裂纹之间没有明显的界限。Abstract: Hoop tensile test is performed on N36 zirconium tube ring specimen at 350℃ iodine gas en-vironment to study the I-SCC behavior of N36 zirconium tube under iodine action.The fracture surface after I-SCC is observed by scanning electron microscope,and the result shows that pitting is prone to take place at edge of specimen,and group of cracks propagate parallel to the fracture surface.There is no clear boundary between intergranular and transgranular crack.
