Nodular Corrosion Investigation of N18 Zirconium Alloys

摘要: N18锆合金样品经过不同条件的热处理后,用高压釜在500℃/10.3 MPa过热蒸汽中进行腐蚀实验,研究其耐疖状腐蚀性能。结果表明:样品经过780℃的α+β双相及700℃的α相长时间的热处理后易出现疖状腐蚀,其原因是出现了合金元素,特别是Nb元素的贫化区。采用大变形量加工及低温退火处理并不能有效消除已形成的合金元素贫化区,只有重新进行充分的β相高温固溶处理才能消除。Abstract: In the present work,the nodular corrosion properties in the steam(500 oC/ 10.3 MPa) of N18 zirconium alloys after different heat treatment were investigated.The nodular corrosion of N18 alloys was liable to occur after α +β binary phases at 780oC and α uniary phase treatment at 700oC.Microstructure ob-servation found that the dilution of alloying element(especially Nb) at high temperature contributed the dete-rioration of nodular resistance.Furthermore,the formed alloying elements depleted zone could not be elimi-nated effectively by large deformation or low-temperature annealing treatment.A sufficient solution treat-ment at β phases has been proved as an effective way to eliminate the alloying elements depleted zone.
