Abstract: An advanced rod worth mesurement technique, the dynamic rod worth measurement method（DRWM）has been developed. Static Spatial Factors（SSF） and Dynamic Spatial Factor（DSF） were introduced to improve the inverse kinetics method. The three dimensional steady and transient simulations for the mesurement process was carried out to calculate the modifacation factors. The rod worth measurement test was performed on a research reactor to verify DRWM. The results showed that the DRWM method provided the improved accuracy and could be a replacement of the traditional methods.
