Abstract: Tianwan Nuclear Power Plant is the first nuclear power plant in China to introduce degradable protective articles and its processing facilities. This set of processing facilities was also installed for the first time in the radiation control area of the nuclear island of the nuclear power plant. We have encountered a series of problems in engineering design, installation and commissioning. This paper reviews and analyzes the problems encountered in the engineering practice of the degradable waste processing facilities and the process of solving these problems and also proposes suggestions for the future application of the degradable waste processing facilities facilities.
