Cause Analysis on Condenser Corrosion based on Accident Tree

  • A great deal of corrosion was found on the condenser during the commissioning.The analysis revealed that the rust of the condenser was caused by the followings: the broken supporting-rod at water room entrance,welding quality,expanding tube quality,and etc.Firstly,the middle-event is analyzed from the top-event;then step by step,the underlying causes of the middle-event are analyzed;finally,the ultimate cause for the quality-events(end-event) is obtained,and suggestion for the improvement of the condenser manufacturing is given.
