Using the SCIENCE V2 code package,the assembly reactivity of ZrB
2 and gadolinium oxide,and the core peaking factor,cycle length and shutdown margin of the core loaded with these two different burnable poisons are analyzed for CPR1000 quarter core fuel management mode.The results show that it is feasible to load the fuel assemblies with ZrB
2 burnable poison in CPR1000 quarter-core fuel management mode,and a longer cycle length can be obtained.
