Combination Test for PLC Embedded Software in Reactor Control and Protection System

  • The manual static test method and the dynamic simulation test method are combined to test the embedded software in the reactor control and protection system,which is called combination test for short.There are two steps for the combination test.Firstly,the manual static test method is used to verify the safety and rationality of PLC(programmable logic controller),and then the dynamic simulation test method is used to verify its functional effectiveness.This combination test can be conducted with PC and the development and simulation tools for the software to be tested.The effectiveness of the combination test is verified by the hardware test method in the actual PLC operation environment.The result shows that the combination test is effective and is more efficient than the hardware test method.
