Research on Fabrication and Tensile Properties of 9Cr-ODS Steel

  • The oxide dispersion strengthened(ODS) steel powders with the chemical composition of Fe-9Cr-1.5W-0.15S was prepared by mechanical alloying(MA).The MA powders were consolidated by hot isostatic pressing(HIP) at 1150℃ under 110 MPa for 2 h.Then additional hot deformation and heat treat-ment were performed.Tensile property measurement show that the ODS steel is with high strength at tem-perature and high temperature.Additional deformation combined heat treatment can improve the plasticity obviously.
