The present situation of the related experimental and numerical simulation investigations on creep anisotropy of Zr alloy cladding is reviewed.In this paper the numerical simulation methods on creep anisotropy are introduced emphatically.Moreover,results on the investigation of anisotropic creep behavior,which based on lower and upper boundary and self-consistent three polycrystalline model,are summarized.Some suggestions on future research in this related fields in China are proposed.
