Abstract: In order to prevent the stress corrosion cracking of the housings in the reactor vessel heads,two reactor vessel heads in Daya Bay Nuclear Power Station have been replaced in 2003（unit 2） and reference for the future disposition of larger radioactive solid waste in China.2004（unit 1）.This paper will introduce the solution and process of the disposition of used heads,which include packing design,structure,used head cleaning,coating,packing,handling and transportation process.The result shows that,the design and site operation process is satisfactory,in the hope that this will create a
