Numerical Simulation of Forced Convection Film Boiling on a Sphere

摘要: 使用改进后的流体体积法(VOF)追踪汽液自由界面,开发了用于计算带相变的自由界面问题的基于适体坐标的计算流体力学(CFD)程序,对球体表面强制对流膜态沸腾换热进行了数值模拟。将数值模拟结果与实验关联式进行了对比。结果表明,数值计算较好地模拟了球体表面强制对流膜态沸腾的物理过程。Abstract: A CFD code using improved Volume of Fluid(VOF) method to track liquid-vapor interface is developed to simulate forced convection film boiling on a sphere.The simulation results are compared with the experimental correlation,and the result show that the numerical method could simulate the physical process of forced convection film boiling on a sphere successfully.
