Abstract

Abstract

In the paper, the production procedures and physics basics for ²³⁸Pu are introduced. Irradiation production processes such as design of ²³⁷Np target rod, target rod load capacity of ²³⁷Np and ²³⁸Pu yield of calculation are presented. Furthermore, the post-irradiation technical procedures including chemical separating, purifying, recycling, ²³⁸Pu powder acquirement and heat source fabrication, are also summarized with cautious.
