Instability Analysis of Once-Through Boiling Flow System

  • Considering the characteristic of once-through boiling flow system, the simplified dynamic model with lumped parameter moving boundary is used to describe two-phase flow feedback system in this paper for instability analysis. The transfer-functions for instability analysis are derived from the frequency-domain analysis method on automatic control. The Matlab software and its simulink tools are used to analyze and simulate the instability of once-through boiling flow system. Then the stability boundary curves under the effect of some major factors are obtained in this paper.
