Experimental Study on Single-Phase Flow and Heat Transfer in A Narrow Rectangular Duct

  • With deioned water as the test fluid,the experiments involved the single-phase isothermal flow and convective heat transfer with the boundary condition of constant heat flux were conducted in an upright narrow rectangular duct.The results show that the single-phase flow and heat transfer in the test duct did not deviate compared to the case in large-sized pipes,and can be well predicted by the conventional theoretical values and experimental correlations.
