Analysis of Thermal and Hydro Characteristics of Steam Generator Blowdown System

  • In this paper,the thermal and hydro characteristics of steam generator blowdown system in CPR1000 nuclear power plant is analyzed by flowmaster software.The set model is changed,and the parameters which affect the system severity are greatly considered.From the analyzing we know that,fast change of SG blowdown water temperature will not affect the regenerative heat exchanger because of "thermal inertia function",and the temperature downstream regenerative heat exchanger is not sensitive to the change of SG blowdown water but sensitive to the entrance temperature of cooling water,and quick close of treatment equipment(demineralizer and filter) may lead high-press alarm and safe-valve release.
