Design of Heavy Water Tank and Guiding Tank of CARR

  • The design thoughts and methods for heavy water tank and Guiding tank of China Advanced Research Reactor(CARR)are introduced in this paper.The structures of the devices are described in detail, and the difficulties met in the design are analyzed.Based on the design & manufacture of the CARR core flow-induced vibration test model and the test results,the parametrical modeling and dummy assembling of the devices are carried out with three-dimensional mechanical design software,to improve and optimize the design,and thus to ensure the accuracy of the device interfaces,and to resolve the design difficulties.At present,the construction design is completed,and the devices are under manufacture.
